Through the UK, France, Switzerland and into Italy.

The journey through France was pretty uneventful, well from the point of view of travelling on motorways most of France we saw was rural with farmers doing what farmers do towards the end of summer. We stayed overnight in a place called Metz then after a continental breakfast it was back on the road to Switzerland. The scenery changed from the rural to the beautiful, yes the Switzerland you see on post cards, you have to remember most of the pictures were taken from inside of a bus, travelling at something like 70 mph, and through double glazing, anyway here a few photographs I took.
The last time we were travelling by this route snow was at the sides of the road, what a difference when it was warm and sunny. (Click photographs for a larger view).
